Terms of Service | Bitcoin Butlers

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, applications, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under applicable law.

2. Scope of Services; Educational Purpose; Non-Custodial

Educational Only. Bitcoin Butler provides education, training, and operational best-practices related to Bitcoin self-custody and security. We do not provide investment, financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Decisions to buy, sell, hold, transfer, or custody Bitcoin are yours alone.

Non-Custodial. Bitcoin Butler does not take possession of, hold, control, or have access to customer funds or private keys at any time. Where we participate in a multi-signature arrangement, our key alone cannot move funds.

Butler Services. Consultations delivered through our platform ("Butler Services") are provided by independent contractors ("Butlers") who assist you with the "how"—they do not make decisions for you, do not provide personalized advice, and do not have authority to access your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials. You shall not provide such information to any Butler.

E-Commerce. We may offer hardware, merchandise, and educational materials for purchase through integrated e-commerce features. Product sales are subject to standard commercial terms including shipping policies, return policies, and warranties as disclosed at checkout.

3. No Custody; No Key Access

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:

(a)Neither Bitcoin Butler, LLC nor any Butler will request, receive, store, or have access to your private keys, seed phrases, wallet passwords, or recovery information;
(b)You shall not provide such information to Bitcoin Butler, LLC or any Butler under any circumstances;
(c)Any voluntary disclosure by you of such information is at your sole risk;
(d)Bitcoin Butler, LLC disclaims all liability arising from any such disclosure; and
(e)If a Butler misappropriates your funds through your voluntary disclosure, your sole remedy lies against that Butler individually, not against Bitcoin Butler, LLC.

4. Eligibility, Accounts & Security

You agree to provide accurate registration data, keep credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized activity. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Compliance & Lawful Use

You will comply with all applicable laws including anti-money laundering (AML), countering the financing of terrorism (CFT), OFAC sanctions, and export controls. You may not use the Services for illegal or fraudulent purposes, to violate others' rights, or to interfere with the Services' operation.

6. Fees, Payments & Refunds

Fees for Services will be disclosed before purchase or in a separate services agreement. All payments for concierge services and key backup services are due in full prior to commencement and are non-refundable. Scheduled appointments may not be rescheduled once confirmed. Product purchases are subject to return policies disclosed at checkout. Unpaid amounts may accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services and all related content are owned by Bitcoin Butler, LLC or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for their intended personal, non-commercial purpose. No other rights are granted.

8. Third-Party Links, Tools & Integrations

We may reference or integrate with third-party websites, products, services, or tools. We do not control or endorse third-party content and are not responsible for any loss, damage, or liability arising from your use of third-party products or services.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. BITCOIN BUTLER, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BITCOIN BUTLER, LLC, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND CONTRACTORS (INCLUDING BUTLERS) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, CRYPTOCURRENCY, OR DIGITAL ASSETS. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bitcoin Butler, LLC, its members, managers, officers, employees, agents, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; (d) your voluntary disclosure of private keys or sensitive information.

12. Dispute Resolution; Governing Law

Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Exclusive Venue. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming, or the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming.

13. Class Action Waiver; Jury Waiver

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) ALL DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS; CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDINGS ARE WAIVED; AND (B) EACH PARTY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.

14. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on our website. Changes apply prospectively and become effective upon posting. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the date of the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Services after any modification constitutes acceptance.

15. Severability; Assignment; Entire Agreement

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. You may not assign your rights without our consent. We may assign in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable service agreements, constitute the entire agreement.
